Sometimes, every other week or so, life in the afternoon just gets boring.  So we make stuff.

Face paint, 

oobleck, 

cupcakes, 

play-doh, 

St. Patrick's Day wreaths...

They're all fun, really.

alisonism #4: Let them eat cake

I like cake.  I don't love cake, and I don't feel like I need to eat cake all the time.
I like cupcakes.  I don't love cupcakes, and I don't feel like I need to eat cupcakes all the time.

Here's the alisonism: I feel like cake and cupcakes each have their own place.  In my opinion, sometimes one is more appropriate than another.  But here's my main thing.  As pretty or as fun as cupcakes can be, I believe that wedding cakes...
